When a restaurant manages to maintain its presence in the highly competitive culinary landscape for an extended period, it often signifies stability, consistency, and an ability to adapt to the ever-changing tastes of its customers. Sushi Misong is a prime example of such an establishment. In an industry where many restaurants struggle to survive beyond their first year, especially in the bustling and competitive Korean Town (K-Town) area, Sushi Misong has stood the test of time. It's been a while since my last visit, but I was pleased when a friend suggested it for a business lunch recently. Over the years, I've tried a number of Korean-owned sushi restaurants in K-Town, many of which sadly couldn't withstand the pressures of competition and closed their doors in less than a year. Sushi Misong, however, has been a notable exception. Its longevity speaks volumes about the restaurant's ability to deliver what customers seek: quality food, excellent service, and an inviting atmosphere. During our visit, we were immediately impressed by the serene ambiance, which was perfect for a business lunch. The service was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our meal. As for the food, the sushi was fresh, beautifully presented, and prepared with care. Each dish we ordered met our expectations, and it was clear why Sushi Misong continues to attract a loyal customer base. In such a competitive environment, where trends and customer preferences can shift rapidly, it's not just about serving great food--it's about continuously evolving to meet the demands of the market. While Sushi Misong has already built a solid reputation, I hope it can continue to thrive by maintaining its high standards of food quality, offering fair pricing, and delivering exceptional service. Furthermore, in order to stay ahead of the competition, innovative ideas and a willingness to adapt will be essential. Whether through introducing new menu items or creating unique dining experiences, these small yet important factors can make all the difference in ensuring long-term success. In a world where restaurants often come and go, Sushi Misong's perseverance is commendable, and I sincerely hope it continues to flourish for many years to come. It's refreshing to see a place that has not only survived but thrived through dedication, consistency, and an understanding of what its customers truly want.

My new favorite spot in Atlanta! The sheer abundance and quality of the fish is otherworldly. Highly recommend this spot for all avid sushi/sashimi lovers and anyone looking for a special night out. Mirong offers private rooms that individualize your experience as well! The servers explained the menu very well and each dish as they came out as well. Can't wait to go back!

Sushi Misong was somewhat impressing with their delightful and complimentary appetizers, setting a high standard right from the beginning of the meal. Their sushi and sashimi lunch combo is a standout, offering a nice selection of fresh, flavorful pieces that showcase the chef's choice. The inclusion of udon with the lunch combo adds a comforting, warm element to the meal. Service was decent. Saw our server a total of three times and that was to get us seated, deliver apps, & deliver our lunches. Spacing of the seats were fine; however, there was a strange smell coming from our corner for whatever reason. Couldn't tell if I disliked it or not. Overall, Sushi Misong delivers somewhat of a satisfying and well-rounded lunch experience.

I dropped by for lunch after grocery shopping at GW supermarket, located in the same plaza. Just looking for a quick bite to eat, I did not expect such a nice restaurant. It's a Korean owned Japanese restaurant- so expect Japanese style bento boxes and sashimi/sushi combos served with Korean banchan. There are private eating rooms with buzzers to let waitresses know when you are ready for their attention. The lunch menu is INCREDIBLY high value. We had delicious bento boxes (loved the sushi and tempura) for $16 which come with banchan, a large steamed egg, and complimentary porridge. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for delicious and reasonably priced food with nice atmosphere and service.

This is definitely a sushi place in Duluth that I'll be revisiting. I ordered the raw fish and seafood special which is kind of like a Korean style sushi where it comes with a ton of side dishes, rice, and soup. My mom and I ordered the medium size because we were told it would feed two and WOW the portions were huge. We absolutely loved that there was so much raw fish and we left completely full. Service was pretty slow - we had to call the bell a few times to get our waters refilled, but granted, it was Christmas Eve so the restaurant was pretty busy s

Popped in here with my parents today. This is a place that is literally hidden in one of the corners of an old strip mall off Pleasant Hill near Satellite Rd. Without being told what and where to go I'd never have found it. We showed up at 2, I was pleased to see this place was open daily from 11:30-midnight. I know we were after lunch rush so we got seated in one of the private rooms immediately and ordered sushi and sashimi combo b, a pork tonkatsu combo meal, and a few other things my parents enjoy, like mackerel. So many options! I basically have never seen sushi cuts so large, not unless you're paying 4x as much at Morimoto. This restaurant is Korean owned and operated, so I am obviously a little biased but the server was super helpful and on point. Lots of food but we were hungry. We had leftovers, should be ok. They provided banchon (traditional Korean side dishes usually given at Korean BBQ and other restaurants) and they were all very good also. I took a bunch of photos so you can see how nicely prepared some of the sashimi was. Sushi was smaller cuts but larger to wrap around the rice if you liked. What I liked the very best was the variety and a small bowl of udon noodles that came with my meal. Not too large- just enough to cover your craving, not too salty either. I'll be back with my friends to show them this hidden gem. Going on slow hours your server will help crank out the food that flies out of the kitchen. It all hit pretty much all at once so it was a bit overwhelming but I recovered nicely. Support small businesses!

Tried out this place for lunch and ordered Misong B course meal. It's a lot of food! Service was fast - they brought a tray of food after we finished the warm porridge - sashimi, sushi, tempura, California roll, and side dishes. Then came the roe rice and udon. Last dish was the grilled mackerel. Sashimi, sushi, udon, and grilled mackerel were tasty and the side dishes were pretty good especially the radish kimchi. Ate so much, didn't even have to eat dinner... saved room for beer and soju As you enter, you see a "smart disinfection gate" https://www.smartcgate.com/scggrouphomepage The staff were wearing masks and a bottle of hand sanitizer at our table.
